Carrollwood Area Business Association Hosted a CABA After 5 with The LaVoy Team at Black Rock Bar & Grill
Along with Mike LaVoy, The LaVoy Team, and his co-hosts Kelly Stuart Williams, Pegasos Public Relations and Linda Kronenberger, Shaklee Healthy Lifestyles, staff from Black Rock Bar & Grill, welcomed CABA members to the restaurant where members and their guests passed referrals and learned more about each other’s businesses.
Mike LaVoy has been a proud member of CABA since 2005 and has been in business in the Carrollwood area for 27 years. “Over that time, Carrollwood has grown from a rural bedroom community to one of Tampa’s largest business and residential areas,” said LaVoy. Mike and his wife and business partner, Paula LaVoy, have been in Carrollwood during this growth, and they have a very good knowledge of the area’s features and attractions.
According to their website, Black Rock Bar & Grill, is an award winning steakhouse specializing in Certified Angus Beef steaks served on a sizzling stone. “Here at Black Rock, you cook your steak on a sizzling 755-degree volcanic rock to your exact liking. Our concept ensures that every bite is just as hot and juicy as the first bite, and is always cooked just the way you like it!”
This method of cooking is the newest phenomenon in the culinary world. It creates a memorable dining experience, making Black Rock the ideal restaurant for special occasions, as well as for everyday dining with friends and family.
“The LaVoy Team at Black Rock Bar & Grill was selected as one of CABA’s “Member-Guest” open houses to encourage members of the community to visit and learn more about the Tampa networking organization,” said CABA President Diane Stoddart, LTC Financial Solutions.
She added, “We thoroughly enjoyed learning more about all of our hosts and co-hosts, and we are proud to have the The LaVoy Team and Black Rock among our membership and will continue to look for opportunities to partner with them.”
Known for its annual Taste of Carrollwood and CABA Golf Classic, CABA’s free to members, weekly events are just one of many member benefits that bring the area’s businesses together.
For over 30 years, CABA has provided area businesses with a voice and community to help ensure their growth. With over 400 members, the Tampa networking organization represents a large variety of businesses in the Greater Carrollwood area.
