Carrollwood Area Business Association Hosted a CABA Coffee networking at Corbett Prepartory School of IDS
Along with the Corbett Preparatory School of IDS staff, the greeters and ambassadors from the Carrollwood Area Business Associationwelcomed CABA members and their guests who passed referrals and learned more about each other’s businesses.
Founded in 1968, Corbett Preparatory School of IDS (formerly Independent Day School-Corbett Campus) is a fully accredited, nonsectarian private school located in Tampa’s Carrollwood neighborhood. The school serves 500+ students from PreK3- 8th grade and offers the International Baccalaureate program of study for all students. Teachers are endorsed in gifted education through a master’s level grant with the USF College of Education. Corbett Prep balances a dynamic, nurturing and safe learning environment with high standards and high expectations to develop a positive approach to life and learning. Corbett Prep has become recognized as an exemplary school with 7,000+ visitors observing and learning from Corbett Prep teachers.

Community School of the Arts (CSA) provides opportunities for guided exploration for young children, traditional classes and lessons in music, visual arts, dance and theatre, innovative seminars, and numerous performing opportunities.
Community School for Sports (CSS) Participants can choose from a variety of sport-specific instruction from professionally trained or certified coaches. Selections change depending on the session but may include track club, baseball clinics, volleyball skill development, yoga, Exploracise and sports broadcasting as well as basketball.
CAMP IDS summer programs offer 60+ morning and afternoon camps for kids from PreK3 – 12th grade.
Known for its annual Taste of Carrollwood and CABA Golf Classic, CABA’s free to members, weekly events are just one of many member benefits that bring the area’s businesses together.
CABA President Diane Stoddart, LTC Financial Solutions, said, “In addition to our weekly networking events, CABA members receive online business profiles, weekly e-blasts, and news releases when they join or renew their annual membership with CABA.”
For over 30 years, CABA has provided area businesses with a voice and community to help ensure their growth. With over 400 members, the Tampa networking organization represents a large variety of businesses in the Greater Carrollwood area.
The CABA Coffee networking will be followed by next week’s CABA After 5 at World of Beer on Fowler Avenue, as morning and afternoons alternate weekly. CABA events are free and listed on the CABA calendar.
